Los Copihues Cabins and Campground have a privileged location within the exquisite District of Puyehue, minutes away from several rivers where visitors may enjoy fishing. Some of them are the Pescadero, the Chanleufu, the Rahue, the Pilmaiquén and the famous Gol-Gol Rivers. Lake Rupanco, which stands out for its fishing environments, also lies nearby.
Just 17 kilometers away from the campground, visitors will find hot spring waters to enjoy with the whole family and adventure travel activities such as zip-lining and rappelling. Likewise, guided tours to the summit of Puyehue Volcano, Antillanca Volcano and the various lakes located inside Anticura and Puyehue National Parks are available. Both parks feature several hiking trails and eye-catching sights of the native woods.
Horseback rides around the area and the glorious scenes boasted by the District of Puyehue make up other attractions. The District of Entre Lagos lies 8 kilometers away. Summer festivals are held at this location. Moreover, the Auto Museum Moncopulli is the first classic car museum in Chile and it lies 30 kilometers away.
Our venue is located just 38 kilometers away from the Argentinian border. Therefore, a day trip to Bariloche or Villa La Angostura represents an attraction itself. Lake Nahuel Huapi, famous for its breathtaking landscapes, as well as the stunning viewpoints in Bariloche and the Seven-Lake Road, lie 60 kilometers away.
